Training and Development Specialist for Refinery Operations

",We are seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in refinery operations and instructional experience, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

",Key Responsibilities:
",- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for local Operations Technicians and Engineers.
",- Conduct assessments to evaluate trainee competence and ensure all participants meet operational standards.
",- Maintain accurate records of training progress and provide regular updates to management.

",Requirements and Skills:
",**Educational Background:**
",- A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is preferred.
",- A Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience will also be considered.

",**Professional Experience:**
",- Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery operations, ideally in roles such as Operations Supervisor or Senior Operations Engineer.
",- Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations.
",- At least 5 years of instructional experience, including the development and delivery of industry-specific training programs.

",**Technical Knowledge:**
",- Comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards.
",- Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and other training tools.

",**Communication Skills:**
",- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
",- Confident in delivering presentations and training to diverse audiences in both classroom and on-site settings.

",**Personal Attributes:**
",- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
",- Comfortable addressing groups and facilitating both technical and hands-on learning.
