Language Requirements: Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).

We are seeking a skilled Generation Specialist with extensive experience in power generation to join our team in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in power plant design, operation and management, as well as broad technological knowledge in steam power plants, gas turbines, solar PV, wind, and hydro power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaison with the Client:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the German generation expert for all aspects related to power generation.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Guidance and Coordination:

  • Guide data collector teams during power plant visits, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data collection.
  • Provide technical support and insights to enhance the efficiency of data collection processes.

Review of Deliverables:

  • Review all generation-related reports and deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvements.

Reporting and Support:

  • Report directly to the Team Leader, providing regular updates on project progress and any issues encountered.
  • Collaborate closely with the German generation expert and other team members to ensure cohesive project execution.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in power generation, including power plant design, operation, and management.
  • Broad technological knowledge of steam power plants, gas turbines, solar PV, wind, and hydro power plants.
  • Operational experience from power plant control rooms or management roles is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of various power generation technologies and their applications.

Communication and Organizational Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic.
  • Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with international team members and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
