Deadline

The Sales & Operations Specialist is
responsible for coordinating freight forwarding activities across air, sea, and
road transport. This role involves managing quotations, bookings,
documentation, and customer relations while ensuring smooth end-to-end order
fulfillment and cost-effective transportation solutions.



Responsibilities

  • Obtain and
    provide competitive freight quotes (air, sea, and road) and follow up on
    inquiries.
  • Coordinate
    with customers, vendors, and business partners to ensure smooth shipment
    handling.
  • Arrange
    import/export bookings and facilitate the movement of goods from origin to
    destination.
  • Prepare and
    verify shipping documents (B/L, manifests, routing) in line with customs and
    international regulations.
  • Manage the
    order fulfillment and transportation cycle to ensure deadlines and service
    quality are met.
  • Provide
    customers with timely updates and maintain accurate shipment records.
  • Review
    freight costs and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates and
    reduce expenses.
  • Identify
    opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and customer satisfaction


Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding (air, sea, and road)
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs
    clearance procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related
    field
  • Proficiency in MS Office and freight forwarding software/ERP
    systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English, Kurdish & Arabic
  • Logistics related certificates are a plus
