Job Identification

We are looking for a logistics manager responsible for managing all transportation and warehouse operations and improving the operation by following the recent technology that would carry the system further, and this position is located in Baghdad.

What We Expect
  • Ensure daily logistic operations continuity in terms of service, cost, and HSE.
  • Reduce delivery costs, increase efficiency, and provide the system with strategies and opportunities that would increase the service level to the customer.
  • Make sure company fleet-owned and rental trucks are managed within operational and cost efficiency.
  • Management of direct distribution WHs (if any) and concentrate warehouse operations following the CCI standards and HSE rules. Prepare annual BP.
  • Responsible for implementing, harmonizing, and applying correct Logistics & warehousing solutions by measuring 3rd party logistic performance against established KPIs.
  • Prepare annual detailed delivery cost business plan and manage operations align with BP.
  • Prepare detailed BP for pallet purchasing and be responsible for all pallet activities (rent and purchased).
  • Tracking Government Highway Traffic Laws adapting all logistics operations accordingly and updating Policy.
  • Ensure continuity of the logistics services expected level by cooperating with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Legal, and finance departments.
Qualifications
  • Implement, harmonize, and apply correct Logistics & warehousing solutions. Operational excellence approach.
  • Able to manage total delivery and warehouse activities costs.
  • Strong focus on providing the highest level of customer service both internal and external services.
  • Become a coach for his/her team. Increase the team spirit and manage them in the direction of company values.
  • Good command of English both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical thinking, confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic, process improvement skills.
  • Understanding of automation solutions for warehousing and fulfillment
  • Understanding of warehouse management system selection, implementation, and best practices for operations. Measuring warehouse productivity and service level performance through scorecarding.
  • Understanding of transport management system selection, implementation, and best practices for operations. Measuring supplier and own fleet performance through scorecard.
  • Experience and ability with integrating logistics planning with end-to-end supply chain sales and operations planning meetings.
  • Good command of English both verbal and written.
