Clinical Nursing Leader

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for overseeing and driving quality in all aspects of nursing on the Balad, Iraq project.  They will function as a member of the leadership team and handle the required duties as they pertain to patient care, administration, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops strategies, objectives, and plans for outpatient and inpatient services.
• Directs the activities of nursing personnel consistent with those in the Performance Work Statement.
• Responsible for the supervision and implementation of the Clinical Quality Assurance Plan.
• Responsible for the supervision of the Medical Reception Department.
• Responsible for supervision and coordination of emergency and clinic services.

Personnel Management:

• Identifies staffing needs and continuously monitors staffing levels and adjusts as appropriate to meet various clinical care and operational objectives.
• Ensures effective utilization of staff and departmental resources.

Leadership:

• Demonstrates visibility and accessibility to staff by making regular rounds, staff communication, and meetings.
• Collaborates with nursing and medical staff in the development and measurement of performance of standards of patient care.
