Senior Mechanical Systems Coordinator

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management and coordination of all mechanical systems across residential and infrastructure projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest standards of design, installation, and performance.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within overall project plans.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design Review & Approval: Thoroughly review and approve mechanical system designs, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and other specialized mechanical infrastructure elements.
- Site Coordination & Supervision: Act as the primary technical point of contact for all mechanical works on site. Coordinate effectively with main contractors, mechanical sub-contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of mechanical installations.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures for all mechanical installations. Ensure all installed mechanical systems and components meet or exceed project specifications, performance requirements, and relevant building codes and regulations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- [2-4] years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering roles, specifically within the construction sector, with a focus on residential and/or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems design principles, installation practices, and relevant codes.
