Project Manager for Construction Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring timely completion and seamless execution. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management, with a strong ability to manage teams, coordinate tasks, and ensure workflow efficiency.

The Project Manager will be responsible for monitoring project schedules, managing engineering teams, and overseeing administrative, accounting, and procurement staff. They will also identify potential delays and risks, proposing corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, updating, and tracking project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Supervising and coordinating with site engineers and project managers to optimize workflow.
  • Identifying potential delays and risks, proposing corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
  • Ensuring proper documentation and reporting of project progress to stakeholders.
  • Overseeing administrative, accounting, and procurement teams to streamline operations.
  • Maintaining compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Assisting in budget tracking and cost control to optimize resource allocation.
  • Conducting regular site visits to assess work progress and resolve operational challenges.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project management tools.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to manage teams, coordinate tasks, and ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify delays, risks, and inefficiencies and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making and adaptability to project challenges.
