Job Title: Data Engineer

This is a challenging position that requires expertise in data engineering, with a focus on designing, constructing, installing, testing and maintaining data management systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes to drive business growth.
  • Ensure that all systems meet the business requirements as well as industry practices.
  • Integrate new technologies into existing data structures to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
  • Create custom software components and analytics applications to support business-critical decisions.
  • Research new uses for existing data to drive innovation.
  • Employ technological languages and tools to connect systems together.
  • Install/update disaster recovery procedures to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Collect market data and present clear databases to stakeholders to support insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in data engineering.
  • Technical Expertise: Basic Software Engineering Lifecycle, Problem Solving & System Thinking, Time Management & Meeting Deadlines, Analytical & Critical Thinking.
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience using spreadsheet and software tools such as Microsoft, SQL, Python.
  • Solid understanding of business products and services in the ISP industry.
