Job Title: Expert Refinery Trainer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced refinery operations professional to deliver training sessions and assessments to local Operations Technicians and Engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Process Operations training sessions, both theoretical and practical, in classroom-based and on-site settings.
  • Conduct written and practical assessments to evaluate trainee competence, ensuring all participants meet operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of training progress, course completion, attendance, and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in refinery operations, preferably in roles such as Operations Supervisor or Senior Operations Engineer.
  • Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations.
  • At least 5 years of instructional experience, including the development and delivery of industry-specific training programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

You will need to possess:

  • A comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, and other training tools.
  • Fluent English language skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
