Job Description

 

 

The Deputy Representative Programme Lead is responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to the Country Office Programme, ensuring alignment with UNICEF's Strategic Plans and standards of performance.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programme management, with experience in coordinating and managing all phases of the Country Office Programme. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with both public and private sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Country Office Programme
  • Ensure alignment with UNICEF's Strategic Plans and standards of performance
  • Coordinate and manage all phases of the Country Office Programme
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with both public and private sectors
  • Lead and manage a team of programme staff

 

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in social sciences, international relations, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in programme management, with experience in developing countries
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with both public and private sectors
  • Fluency in English required
