We are seeking a highly experienced and self-organized Tender Document Preparation Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in economics, finance, MBA, or engineering, with at least 10 years of professional experience in commercial and contractual matters in Iraq or the Gulf region. This role involves the commercial review and preparation of Requests for Proposals (RfPs), contracts, and providing expert advice on financial agreements, cost calculations, risk assessments, and the application of smart meters.
Key Responsibilities:- Commercial Review and Preparation: Conduct thorough commercial reviews and prepare Requests for Proposals (RfPs) and contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Commercial Advice: Provide expert commercial advice to support decision-making processes and optimize contractual and financial outcomes.
- Auditing: Perform audits of procedures and reports to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with contractual and financial obligations.
- Monthly Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly reports summarizing activities, findings, and recommendations for the management team.
- Financial Agreements Review: Review financial agreements to ensure they meet the organizational requirements and are in the best interest of the company.
- Cost Calculation and Risk Assessment: Calculate costs, prepare cash flow analyses, and assess risks associated with projects and contracts.
- Smart Meters Application Advice: Provide guidance on the application and implementation of smart meters, evaluating their financial and operational impact.
- Reporting: Regularly report to the Team Leader on progress, issues, and recommendations related to tender document preparation and commercial activities.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in commercial and contractual matters, particularly in Iraq or the Gulf region.
- Proven expertise in the preparation and review of RfPs, contracts, and financial agreements.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with auditing procedures and report preparation.
- Knowledge of smart meter technology and its commercial implications is an advantage.
