Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and inspecting guest laundry items, noting any pre-existing damage or stains
  • Marking guest laundry items using appropriate techniques to ensure proper identification
  • Sorting and organizing laundry items according to fabric type and care instructions
  • Maintaining accurate records of received and processed laundry items
  • Coordinating with laundry staff to ensure timely processing and return of guest items
  • Handling guest inquiries and concerns regarding laundry services in a professional manner
  • Adhering to hotel standards and procedures for laundry handling and guest privacy
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborating with housekeeping and front desk staff to ensure seamless laundry service

Qualifications and requirements include:

  • Previous experience in laundry services or hospitality industry preferred
  • Proficiency in laundry marking techniques and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
