Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced training professional to deliver Process Operations training sessions and conduct assessments for local Operations Technicians and Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, including theoretical and practical sessions.
  • Evaluate trainee competence through written and practical assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of training progress and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements and QualificationsEducational Background:
  • A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is highly preferred, but a Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience will also be considered.
Professional Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in refinery operations, preferably in roles such as Operations Supervisor, Senior Operations Engineer, or similar.
  • Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations.
  • At least 5 years of instructional experience, including the development and delivery of industry-specific training programs.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and other training tools.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident in delivering presentations and training to diverse audiences in both classroom and on-site settings.
Personal Attributes:
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable addressing groups and facilitating both technical and hands-on learning.
